The Fort Worth “Are We Dating The Same Guy” group is private and women-only, so you can’t look for yourself. We search it for you, along with the groups around it, and email you a written report within 24 hours.
“Are We Dating The Same Guy” is a network of private Facebook groups, each one tied to a city or region. Women join the group for where they live, post a photo or a screenshot of a man they’ve met or matched with, and ask whether anyone else knows him. Here is how that works in Fort Worth.
People in Fort Worth are quick to point out that they don’t live in Dallas. The city has its own downtown, its own culture and its own pace, from the brick streets and cattle drives of the Stockyards to the restaurants and bars around Sundance Square. Locals still call it Cowtown with some pride, and the Cultural District west of downtown, home to the museums, draws its own crowd. Dating here often has a more local feel, with plenty of people who grew up nearby and still have family close by.
Online, though, Fort Worth tends to be folded into the bigger DFW groups, so a post about a Fort Worth man would often sit in a group with Dallas in its name. There is also a smaller Dallas / Fort Worth / Arlington group. A man who only looks for a Fort Worth group could miss the places a post is most likely to be. That is often why a man who looks on his own comes away unsure rather than reassured.
The Near Southside, along Magnolia Avenue, has become one of the city’s main spots for a first date, with bars, coffee shops and restaurants close together, and it draws staff from the hospital district right next to it. TCU, southwest of downtown, brings students and young graduates, many of whom stay in the city after they finish. Farther west, NAS Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base brings service members, reservists and civilian staff, some of whom are here for a set tour and date with that in mind.
Arlington sits between the two cities, and for many people it is where the two dating lives overlap. Someone in Arlington can match with men in Fort Worth and Dallas on the same evening, and its stadiums and entertainment district pull in crowds from across the Metroplex. The commuter train between the two downtowns and the long drives on I-30 mean many people date across the whole area without thinking of it as far. That middle ground is one reason posts move so easily between the groups.
We start with the DFW groups and the smaller Dallas / Fort Worth / Arlington group, then the Texas-wide groups that pick up posts from across the state. If you’ve been stationed elsewhere or lived in Austin, Houston or another state, list those places when you order and they become part of the same search. A written report then tells you plainly where things stand, so you aren’t left wondering.
Admins screen people before they’re let in, and men are turned away. There is no visitor view and no way to browse from outside.
Posts don’t show up on Google or in Facebook search outside the group. If you’re in a post, it exists only for the people inside.
Getting a friend to look means telling her why. Most men would rather not, and one person scrolling a busy group can easily miss a post.
By your first name and age, by the photos you upload, and by any dating app handles or nicknames you give us. Photos matter most: many posts are just a screenshot of a profile with no name attached.
A written report by email. If something is there, you get a direct link to the post, screenshots, the date it went up, and how much attention it has had. If nothing is there, we say so plainly and list everywhere we looked.
Tea is the other place men get posted, and it works differently from the groups. It’s one app for the whole country rather than a group per city, but every post is filed under a location. A post about you will usually sit under Fort Worth, or under wherever she was when she wrote it.
Like the groups, Tea is women-only and identity-verified, so you can’t see it yourself. A Group Check doesn’t include Tea. If you want both searched, the Full Check covers Tea, the groups and your photos in one report.
A researcher searches the groups by hand and sends you a plain yes or no, with the evidence if there is any. We never post, comment or contact anyone, and nobody can see that you searched.
Often, yes. Fort Worth is usually folded into the larger DFW groups rather than having a main group of its own. We search those along with the smaller Dallas / Fort Worth / Arlington group, so a Dallas name on a group doesn’t mean it leaves you out.
Not much. Where you date matters more than how often you’re in town, so we search the groups covering Fort Worth and DFW as usual. If you live somewhere else between drill weekends, add that place and we’ll search there too.
Mostly the DFW ones. Arlington sits in the middle of the Metroplex, so women from Fort Worth and Dallas may be in the same groups as women from your own city. We search all of them together.
