1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of https://amiposted.me and the services offered by AmIPosted (“AM I POSTED,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By visiting the website, placing an order, creating an account, subscribing to Monitoring, or booking a service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy, Data Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy , and Cookie Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the services or submit personal information.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. Search services may be used only to search for yourself.
You may not order a check for a partner, date, family member, employee, job applicant, tenant, customer, or any other third party.
3. Services
Subject to availability, AM I POSTED may offer:
- Tea Check: a manual search of the Tea app.
- Group Check: a manual search of relevant AWDTSG groups and application locations covered by the order.
- Image Check: ordinary reverse-image and open-web searches using photographs you provide.
- Full Check: a combined Tea, Group, and Image Check.
- Priority Processing: an optional add-on that moves an eligible order forward in the available research queue.
- Monitoring: recurring monthly re-checks and written summaries.
- Private Consultation: an informational call and written summary offered in appropriate situations.
- Image Copyright Registration: assistance preparing and submitting eligible photograph registrations to the U.S. Copyright Office.
The scope, current price, delivery target, and included sources for each service are displayed on the relevant product page and at checkout. Where there is a conflict, the information accepted at checkout controls for that order.
4. Self-Search Confirmation
Before placing a search order, you must confirm that:
- The search concerns you personally.
- The identifying details supplied are accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- The photographs show you and are supplied for a search about you.
- You have the right to upload and use the photographs for the requested service.
- You will not use a report to identify, expose, threaten, harass, retaliate against, or make regulated decisions about another person.
We may refuse, pause, or cancel an order if we reasonably believe it concerns a third party, contains materially false information, creates a safety risk, or violates these Terms.
5. Search Methods and Limits
Searches are performed against live platforms and the open web as they exist at the time the order is processed. We do not use leaked, hacked, stolen, or breached data. We do not unlawfully access private accounts or identify the people who post.
Results depend on the information you provide, platform availability, geographic coverage, account and group access, deleted or changed posts, image quality, and other factors outside our control.
No search can guarantee that every existing or future post, image, comment, username, or reference will be found. Read our Data Policy for more information.
6. Reports and Outcomes
A written report is delivered whether or not matching content is found. The fee covers the researcher’s time, the search process, and preparation of the report—not a guaranteed finding.
A clean report means no matching content was found within the covered sources at the time of the search. It does not prove that content has never existed or cannot appear later.
A report is informational. It is not a background check, consumer report, forensic certification, guarantee of identity, legal opinion, or determination that a statement is true, false, defamatory, or unlawful.
7. Services We Do Not Provide
AM I POSTED does not:
- Remove posts or guarantee takedowns.
- Contact platforms, groups, moderators, posters, or commenters on your behalf.
- Identify or describe the person who posted.
- Provide legal advice or legal representation.
- Decide whether content is accurate, fair, defamatory, or unlawful.
- Search for third parties or provide employment, housing, credit, insurance, or eligibility screening.
- Create facial-recognition or biometric profiles through an Image Check.
8. Information Required From You
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information. Delivery timing begins only after payment is confirmed and all required photographs, details, and confirmations have been received.
If information is incomplete, we may place the order on hold and contact you. If the requested information is not supplied within seven days, we may cancel or close the order. Any refund will be handled according to the Refund and Cancellation Policy and the work already completed.
9. Delivery Timing
Delivery windows shown on product pages and at checkout are service targets. Tea Checks are generally delivered within two hours during the stated business hours. Group Checks, Image Checks, and Full Checks are generally delivered within 24 hours after the order is ready to begin.
Delivery may be delayed by incomplete information, payment review, technical failure, platform unavailability, high order volume, security concerns, or circumstances outside reasonable control. If we expect a material delay, we will contact you using the order email.
10. Priority Processing
Priority Processing is an optional add-on for eligible services. It moves an order forward in the available research queue but does not change the scope of the search, guarantee a delivery time, or guarantee a particular result.
The current fee and estimated timing are displayed before payment. Refund eligibility for Priority Processing is explained in the Refund and Cancellation Policy .
11. Prices, Currency, and Payment
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. You agree to pay the total shown at checkout, including selected add-ons and any applicable taxes.
Card payments are processed through Stripe.
A card order normally enters processing after payment is confirmed.
12. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund and cancellation eligibility depends on the service, whether work has begun, whether third-party fees have been paid, and applicable law. The full rules are set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy .
Because manual research may begin shortly after payment, your cancellation options may change once a researcher starts work. A report that finds no matching content is not, by itself, grounds for a refund because the purchased service is the search and written report.
Nothing in these Terms limits a consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
13. Monitoring Subscription
Monitoring is a recurring subscription currently offered at $249 per month unless a different price is clearly displayed and accepted at checkout.
By subscribing, you authorise recurring monthly charges until cancellation. Before payment, we will display the price, billing frequency, automatic-renewal terms, service description, and cancellation method and obtain the consent required for recurring charges.
Monitoring re-runs the covered checks monthly and sends a written summary even when no change is found. The exact re-check date may vary slightly due to operational and platform availability.
You may cancel at any time using the cancellation method provided in your account or monitoring email, or by contacting hello@amiposted.me. Cancellation stops future renewal charges and takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless stated otherwise. Amounts already charged are not normally prorated except where required by law.
14. Private Consultation
A consultation is an informational call with a written follow-up summary. It may explain practical routes, platform reporting options, copyright ownership questions, and common actions that can make a situation worse.
A consultation is not a removal service, legal representation, or legal advice. You are responsible for joining at the scheduled time and supplying materials requested for review. Rescheduling, cancellation, late-arrival, and no-show rules are stated in the Refund and Cancellation Policy .
15. Image Copyright Registration
Image Copyright Registration covers the number and type of photographs described on the product page and at checkout. You must provide accurate authorship, publication, and ownership information.
The person who took a photograph is generally its initial copyright owner unless a valid work-for-hire or other ownership arrangement applies. If another person took the photograph, registration may require a valid written assignment before filing.
Copyright registration creates a public record and may display your legal name and filing information. Processing is controlled by the U.S. Copyright Office and may take months. We cannot guarantee acceptance, processing time, enforcement results, or the legal effect of a registration in a particular dispute.
16. Customer Content and Permission
You retain any rights you have in the photographs and information you provide.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive permission to receive, store, review, reproduce, search with, redact, include in your private report, and otherwise process the supplied material only as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide the ordered service.
- Maintain security and prevent misuse.
- Respond to a support request or payment dispute.
- Comply with applicable law.
This permission ends when the information is deleted according to the Privacy Policy, except for records we are legally or operationally permitted to retain.
17. Acceptable Use
You may not use the website, a report, or any service to:
- Search for or investigate another person.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, dox, intimidate, expose, or retaliate against anyone.
- Attempt to enter or gain unauthorised access to a private account or group.
- Misrepresent your identity or relationship to a photograph.
- Upload malware, unlawful content, or material you do not have the right to provide.
- Interfere with the website, payment systems, researchers, or other customers.
- Scrape, automate, reverse engineer, resell, or commercially exploit the service without written permission.
- Use a report for employment, housing, credit, insurance, eligibility, or another regulated decision.
18. Third-Party Platforms and Services
Tea, Facebook, AWDTSG communities, search engines, payment providers, and other third-party services are independent from AM I POSTED. We do not control their availability, content, rules, moderation decisions, security, or response to customer actions.
References to a third-party platform describe search coverage and do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation.
19. Intellectual Property
The website, branding, original copy, report format, software, graphics, and service materials are owned by or licensed to AmIPosted and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may use your private report for personal and lawful purposes. You may not publish, resell, copy, or distribute a report in a way that exposes another person’s information, violates law, or infringes platform or third-party rights.
20. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and services are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that a search will find every result, that a platform will remain available, that a report will achieve a particular personal or legal outcome, or that content will be removed.
We disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent those disclaimers are legally permitted.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AmIPosted will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, reputational harm, emotional distress, platform actions, or actions taken by a customer or third party in response to a report.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a particular paid service will not exceed the amount paid for that service.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those locations, the exclusions and limitations apply only to the extent legally permitted.
22. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AmIPosted and its personnel from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the service, breach of these Terms, false self-search confirmation, misuse of a report, or violation of another person’s rights.
23. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, decline, or terminate access to services where reasonably necessary to protect a person, enforce these Terms, prevent fraud or misuse, comply with law, or respond to a platform or payment-provider restriction.
If we cancel a paid order without providing the purchased service and the cancellation is not caused by your breach, we will provide any refund required by the Refund and Cancellation Policy or applicable law.
24. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Before filing a formal claim, please contact hello@amiposted.me and give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue informally. A dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by a court or other forum with lawful jurisdiction over the parties and dispute.
25. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when services, prices, technology, vendors, or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted with a new effective date. Changes will not retroactively alter a completed purchase unless required by law or agreed by the customer.
Material changes affecting an active recurring subscription will be communicated and handled with any notice or consent required by law.
