The Denver “Are We Dating The Same Guy” group is private and women-only, so you can’t look for yourself. We search it for you, along with the groups around it, and email you a written report within 24 hours.
“Are We Dating The Same Guy” is a network of private Facebook groups, each one tied to a city or region. Women join the group for where they live, post a photo or a screenshot of a man they’ve met or matched with, and ask whether anyone else knows him. Here is how that works in Denver.
Search Facebook for a Denver Are We Dating The Same Guy group and no single main one comes up. Posts about men here are spread across several Denver and Colorado groups, and none of them stands out in Facebook search. For a man trying to check on his own, that is the hardest part. He may search, find one group, scroll through it and still miss the one where a post actually sits.
That is not unusual for a metro that has grown quickly. New groups start as people move in, older ones keep going, and women join whichever ones their friends point them to. A screenshot can also be shared from one group into another, so a man can be discussed in a group he has never heard of, by women he has never met.
A lot of Denver’s population came from somewhere else, often for work or for the outdoors. People arrive single, use the apps to meet people, and date widely while they are still building a social circle. Weekends often head into the mountains for hiking or skiing, so a date might start at a trailhead as easily as at a bar.
That mix of newcomers and long weekends away means people often meet without any shared friends. When a woman wants to check on a man she has met that way, a group is usually the quickest place to ask.
Nights out tend to happen in a handful of neighborhoods. LoDo, around Union Station and the ballpark, is busy on weekends. RiNo has breweries and restaurants that draw people from across the metro. The Highlands, across the river from downtown, have their own bars and restaurants, and Cherry Creek is quieter and a little more polished.
The suburbs widen the picture. Aurora to the east, Lakewood to the west and Boulder to the northwest all have dating scenes of their own, and Boulder adds university students and the people who stay on afterward. Colorado Springs is a drive south, and plenty of people date between the two cities.
Because no single group stands out in search, we search the groups covering Denver itself first, then the ones that match where Denver dating actually reaches: Boulder and the northern suburbs, Colorado Springs, and the Colorado-wide groups. The photos you send are what makes this work across so many groups. If you lived somewhere else before Denver, which is common, tell us on the form and we’ll search there too.
With posts split across several groups, checking for yourself rarely feels finished. A report that looks through them together tells you where you stand, and lets you stop searching. If nothing turns up across all of them, that is a result you can actually rely on.
Admins screen people before they’re let in, and men are turned away. There is no visitor view and no way to browse from outside.
Posts don’t show up on Google or in Facebook search outside the group. If you’re in a post, it exists only for the people inside.
Getting a friend to look means telling her why. Most men would rather not, and one person scrolling a busy group can easily miss a post.
By your first name and age, by the photos you upload, and by any dating app handles or nicknames you give us. Photos matter most: many posts are just a screenshot of a profile with no name attached.
A written report by email. If something is there, you get a direct link to the post, screenshots, the date it went up, and how much attention it has had. If nothing is there, we say so plainly and list everywhere we looked.
Tea is the other place men get posted, and it works differently from the groups. It’s one app for the whole country rather than a group per city, but every post is filed under a location. A post about you will usually sit under Denver, or under wherever she was when she wrote it.
Like the groups, Tea is women-only and identity-verified, so you can’t see it yourself. A Group Check doesn’t include Tea. If you want both searched, the Full Check covers Tea, the groups and your photos in one report.
A researcher searches the groups by hand and sends you a plain yes or no, with the evidence if there is any. We never post, comment or contact anyone, and nobody can see that you searched.
We know which Denver and Colorado groups are active and search across them rather than relying on one. That is the main reason a self-search here tends to miss things, and why we cover the city, suburban and statewide groups together.
Yes, for most men in Boulder. People date between the two all the time, and Boulder groups are part of the search alongside the Denver ones.
If you dated there in the last few years, it’s worth including. Posts stay up after a man moves, and a group back home is just as likely to have one as a group here. List it when you order and we’ll add it.
