Depending on the service you use, we may collect:

- Order details, selected services, transaction status, billing information, and payment method.
- Monitoring subscription, renewal, and cancellation information.
- Consultation booking details and materials you choose to provide.
- Copyright authorship, ownership, assignment, and filing information.

Please do not provide information about another person unless we specifically request it for a lawful and necessary purpose, such as a written copyright assignment from the person who took a photograph.
Payment Information
Card payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment provider. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number. We receive the transaction information needed to confirm payment, prevent fraud, deliver the service, issue refunds, and maintain business records.
Information Collected Automatically
When you use the website, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it.

- Pages viewed, referring pages, links clicked, and timestamps.

- Security, error, authentication, and fraud-prevention logs.
See our Cookie Policy for more information and available controls.
Information Found During a Search
When you order a check, an authorised researcher uses the details you provide to search the live platforms covered by the order. A report may contain matching content about you, including screenshots, dates, city or group information, and public-web locations.
We do not use leaked, hacked, or breached datasets. We do not identify the person who posted, and we do not knowingly conduct searches for third parties. See our Data Policy for the full sourcing rules.

4. How We Share Personal Information
We may share personal information only when reasonably necessary with the following categories of recipients:
- Authorised researchers and personnel who need the information to provide the ordered service.
- Website hosting, secure storage, backup, security, and technical-support providers.
- Our payment processor, Stripe.
- Email, document-delivery, scheduling, subscription, and customer-support providers.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share uploaded photographs or private report content for cross-context behavioural advertising.
5. Photograph and Report Retention
Uploaded photographs are scheduled for deletion 30 days after the report is delivered. Search notes and working files that contain uploaded photographs follow the same deletion schedule unless a shorter period is operationally appropriate.
We may retain information for longer when reasonably necessary to address a payment dispute, security incident, legal obligation, customer request, or enforcement of our terms. Reports, transaction records, invoices, subscription records, and customer communications may be retained for business, accounting, fraud-prevention, tax, legal, and compliance purposes.
When information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymise, or securely dispose of it according to our retention procedures.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Measures may include encrypted transmission, restricted access, authentication controls, system monitoring, secure storage, backups, and personnel access limited to the work required.
Uploaded files must not be stored at a publicly accessible URL. No website or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. If you believe information you supplied has been accessed or used improperly, contact hello@amiposted.me promptly.
7. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential website operation, security, checkout, payments, account functions, preferences, and—where enabled—analytics.
Where required, non-essential cookies are used only after the relevant consent. You can manage available choices through the cookie banner, preference centre, or browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout, account, payment, or subscription functions from working correctly.
8. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Request access to or a copy of that information.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of certain information.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.
- Opt out of an applicable sale or sharing of personal information.
- Receive equal service and pricing when exercising a privacy right.
To make a request, email hello@amiposted.me with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before completing the request. We will not ask you to send a password or complete payment-card number.
9. California and Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of California and other U.S. states may have additional rights under state privacy laws when those laws apply to our business and the information involved. These rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, and the right to opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising.
We do not sell personal information and do not share uploaded photographs or private report content for cross-context behavioural advertising. Requests may be sent to hello@amiposted.me. If additional notice or opt-out methods become legally required, we will provide them on the website.
10. Browser Privacy Signals
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” or recognised opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control. Where applicable law requires us to recognise a technically supported signal, we will process it as required. Because there is no uniform standard for every browser signal, responses may differ by browser and jurisdiction.
11. Children
The website and services are intended only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information, contact hello@amiposted.me so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
12. International Visitors
The service is operated from Dublin, Ireland. If you access it from another country, information may be processed in the United States and in other locations where service providers operate. Those locations may have different privacy laws from your home country.
If we actively offer services in a jurisdiction with additional privacy requirements, we will update the relevant notices and consent mechanisms before launching in that market.
13. Third-Party Websites and Platforms
The website may link to payment providers, social platforms, search engines, or other third-party services. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of an independent third party.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in services, technology, vendors, legal obligations, or business practices. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice.
