Live, Active Sources Only
Our authorised researchers search the Tea app, relevant Are We Dating the Same Guy (AWDTSG) communities, other online sources covered by the order, and the open web as those sources exist at the time of the search. Every result included in a report comes from a search performed for the customer who placed that order.
Depending on the service selected, a search may cover:
- The Tea app and information available through legitimate access.
- Relevant Facebook groups and other AWDTSG community locations covered by the order.
- Open-web pages and publicly available image-search results.
- Photographs, names, ages, cities, handles, and other search details supplied by the customer.
Platform availability, group access, geographic coverage, deleted content, changed usernames, image quality, and other factors outside our control may affect what can be found.
We Do Not Use Leaked or Hacked Data
We do not use information from the 2025 Tea app breach or from any other leaked, hacked, stolen, or unlawfully obtained dataset. We do not purchase breach data, search breach archives, or accept data supplied through unlawful access.
Our reports are based on current searches of live platforms and legitimate public sources. A service claiming to search private breach data is not operating under the same standards as AM I POSTED.
We Search Only for the Customer
AM I POSTED is a self-search service. The person ordering a check must confirm that the search concerns them and that the identifying details and photographs provided are their own.
We do not knowingly perform searches for:
- A current or former partner.
- A person the customer is dating or considering dating.
- An employee, job applicant, tenant, customer, or other third party.
- Employment, housing, credit, insurance, eligibility, or law-enforcement decisions.
We may refuse, pause, or cancel a request if the information supplied appears to concern another person or creates a safety, privacy, or misuse risk.
We Do Not Identify the Person Who Posted
Our reports explain what matching content was located and where it appeared. They do not identify, investigate, profile, or describe the person who created a post, comment, or account.
This is a deliberate service limit. AM I POSTED does not contact posters, group members, administrators, moderators, or platforms on a customer's behalf.
How Image Searches Work
Image Checks use ordinary reverse-image and open-web search methods on photographs the customer provides of themselves. We do not create a facial-recognition database, biometric profile, or advertising audience from uploaded photographs.
Image results can be affected by cropping, filters, screenshots, compression, deleted pages, private accounts, or platform restrictions. A clean image result means no relevant match was found within the sources available at the time of the search; it does not prove that the image has never appeared elsewhere.
Copyright Registration Data
For Image Copyright Registration, the customer must provide accurate authorship and ownership information. The person who took a photograph generally owns its copyright unless ownership was created or transferred under a valid legal arrangement.
If another person took a photograph, a written assignment may be required before the registration can be filed. Copyright registration creates a public record and may display the customer's legal name and other filing information.
What a Report Means
A report is a dated record of the sources searched and the results available at that time. It is not:
- A guarantee that every existing or future post will be found.
- A background check or consumer report.
- A forensic identification of a poster or account owner.
- A determination that a statement is true, false, defamatory, or unlawful.
- Legal advice, legal representation, or a guarantee of content removal.
Privacy, Retention, and Security
Information supplied for a search is used only to provide the requested service, maintain security, resolve support issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. Uploaded photographs are scheduled for deletion 30 days after the report is delivered, subject to any shorter operational period or longer period required for a payment dispute, security incident, legal obligation, or specific customer request.
